Cash ( U.S. currency) and major credit card bail will be processed at the jail only. All other forms of posting must be done at the court of record.

Bail for male and female inmates can be posted 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is very important to remember that the bail process could take some time to complete so you must patient.

Come to the visitor gate and check in with the officer on duty. Inform the officer that you'll be posting bail with either cash or credit card.

To complete the bail process in general, the following is required:

• The person posting bail must be 18 years or older.
• Only one person will be allowed in for the bail process.
• Valid government photo ID with a valid current address where you live. NO PO BOXES.

Additional requirements for posting bail using a credit card:

• The cardholder MUST be present at the facility where the card is being used.
• The card holder MUST have valid government photo ID with a valid Master Card, Visa, Discover or American Express credit card.
• Credit card bail is only accepted for bails $10,000 or less. Cash may be added to this amount if the bail is over $10,000.
   

The person you're bailing may be checked for any active warrants. This could take some time to process. If he/she has any outstanding warrants this may prevent the bail from being completed.

The jail is located in Valhalla, NY, 10595 on the same grounds as the Westchester County Medical Center. Use Eastview Exit Rt. 100C off the Sprain Brook Parkway exit.
